I have used Precision over the years in previous homes and always have been satisfied. The spring on my double garage snapped. An easy fix I thought. However, there was too much up selling which I could not afford. And while I would have wanted everything fixed the way it was suggested because of the age of my opener, I was left feeling that my lower priced decision will have consequences later on. Mike was very kind and respectful. He was also very knowledgeable and did a good job with installation. I also appreciated the military discount.

Lucas was prompt professional courteous and this was a call back service from a service precision garage door did yesterday by a technician named Scott who was also very nice. Lucas found some issues with the work that was completed yesterday and went above and beyond to ensure all of the connections were proper and all the wiring was proper and functioning properly he was here for quite some time ensuring proper operation of our garage door and we are grateful thank you Lucas. We were very disappointed with the price of $5,000 for the repair of a two car garage and a motor. After reviewing pricing information from other sources, we believe this charge is substantially higher than would be considered reasonable for the work performed. I also came across reports of concerns regarding technician comission-based compensation and this added to our concerns. While the technician was courteous and did a good job, it does not change our serious concerns of the amount we were charged. After this experience I would not recommend proceeding with expensive repairs without getting a second opinion and comparing prices first.

What started as a simple, bracket repair, somehow turned out to be a $2000+ bill. The tech came in and said at first we needed about $3500 in repairs. When I asked him to simply fix the garage door bracket and replace the 4 yr old springs that Precision installed, it turned into him blowing out my garage door opener and having to replace it. This was a scam from the beginning and I should have sent the tech packing when he came back with the $3500 quote. I will never use them again.
