the Technician who performed the work did a great job and the door works perfectly. However, when I posted on face book what garage door opener replacement should cost the response amount was about half what I paid. The average amount posted was $700 to $800. I paid $1990 which I thought was too much at the time but my old opener was already taken apart. The tech was only here for about 1.5 hours

Precision Garage Door Service is the only garage door company I will use. I've used the several times, for my door in Treasure Island FL and in Spring Hill FL. They are not the cheapest in town but they are the best. As the commercials say, they come with fully stocked service vans so they can complete the job on the first call. My service tech Mike, was professional and knowledgeable. He inspected my door an pointed out a couple of failing items that the average homeowner would not notice if he or she didn't know what to look for. Mike took time to fix my door correctly and it now runs like new. The only reason for the 4 star review and not a 5 star is when I called on Saturday to place the service call I was told I was on the schedule for the same day between 2pm and 6pm. So I stayed home and at 6:30pm no one called nor showed up and when I called back the rep had no record of my request. She apologized and set me up for a Sunday service call that was executed flawlessly. Kudos to Precision!

Precision fixed my door before and I was pleased so I'm a repeat customer. Josh was very courteous and professional. He tweaked the motor and hopefully the door will remain shut and not rise on its own. 4 Stars for now - 5 if my door operates normally. TBD.

Arrived during pre-scheduled timeframe. Service Tech called indicating arrival time about ten minutes before arrival. Checked door and components; made necessary adjustments. Very friendly and courteous service. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly, I got same day service. Complete replacement of a 20 year old system including the tension springs. After two hours of work in 104 degrees, I am now ready for easy, quiet access to my garage. A little pricey but Job well done! Thank you for the 5% senior discount.

Precious Garage were on time professional. The service guy was nice neat and clean in a Company shirt. One thing I really liked was he had a fully stocked service truck and was able to do the job without making trips to get parts. If I had one complaint it would be. The service guy is taught to up sale the service call, but every few minutes he was constantly coming to tell me this needs to be replaced and this was. Finally after about 5 times I told the service guy just fix what we agreed on the first conversation and be done.
